Geez, it’s been a very long time since I’ve written anything on here. I’ve been busy and that’s all I’m gonna say.
Maybe I’ll actually write more on here this year than last, but I’m not promising anything.

Last weekend I went out of town and came back to a stench filling the walls of my apartment that I have never smelled before. I’m not the cleanliest person in the world, but I know I don’t make it easy for a place to smell the way this place does right now. I’ve thrown out most of my food and cleaned everything I thought it might be, but it still exists. I can’t figure it out.
Maybe something died in the walls, maybe a neighbor!? I guess I’ll mention it to my landlord to see if they can figure it out.
Geez, I’m sure I posted something since March. Eh, maybe not.
Anyway, I’ve been up to nothing and a lot at the same time. I’ve watched a number of movies (new and old), but I can not seem to remember which ones. The one I can remember right now, I watched last night… damn this memory… it was Fritz Lang’s “M”. Really good movie that was done in the ’30’s.
Memphis has hit a good patch of live music hitting town, so I’ve taken in a number of concerts in the last couple of months. Jason Isbell, Clutch (The Tossers were one of the opening acts and I was pleasantly surprised by them). Rev. Horton Heat and Murder byDeath. All of the shows were great and seeing a good group of shows all together like this makes me think of the old days when it happened on a regular basis.
The Police played St. Louis, so I went up there for a few days with a friend and checked out some fun stuff to do in St. Louis and the surrounding areas (AKA Women and Gambling… light on the gambling). The police were great, but altered a few of my favorites a little too much for my liking. Drums sounded great.
We drove through East St. Louis… I was looking for the Ribbed Tip sign, but I couldn’t find it. The car got “pimped” with some custom lettering.

There it is… quick and dirty. Maybe I’ll post something new in a few months or so.
I’ve gotten busier and busier with my fulltime job and the freelance which means more money will soon be rolling in. That’s a definite plus, considering April is shaping up to be a great month for live music and events.
This weekend has been relativley quiet as far as extra work is concerned, so I caught up on some movie watching.
I’ve got a few more lined up for this evening, but I really should be outside enjoying this beautiful weather we’ve got today. I should grab a book and head to the park… if we had more days like this it would make me get a dog as an excuse to be outside more than I am. Maybe I should join the Men’s Wiffle Ball League.
And for no other reason than she’s hot… a pic of Rosario Dawson from Grindhouse.

Anyone who knows me knows that I couldn’t give two shits about who is/was playing in this years Superbowl, but I did care that the score was juuuuuust right.
It was and that got me something special in my wallet. So, uhhh, yay Colts!
